Atletico Madrid are eyeing departing Manchester United defender Raphael Varane.

The former Real Madrid centre-half is leaving United after Saturday's FA Cup final.

Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito, revealed: "There is a player who lives again in Madrid. He spent many years in Madrid and left a good taste in the mouth.

"His contract with the club he is currently with on June 30 expires and he returns to Madrid and there is a team from the capital who loves him and it is not in the one who he played before.

"It's Raphael Varane. They are talking, I'm not saying he wants to go. He wants to return to Madrid and they tell me that the Atletico would be interested. Savic is leaving and they are going to have to replace several players."
