Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has dropped out of the running for the job at Australia's Newcastle Jets.
He had registered his interest in taking over at the struggling A-League club following the sacking of Mark Jones. But he's since had a change of heart.
“After much thought, I am withdrawing my name from consideration for the Newcastle Jets job," Fowler told The Weekend Australian.
“It's well known that I would love the opportunity to manage in the A-League, but at this present time I feel the club's aspirations are well below my own."
