Zidane urges Real Madrid to go for Man City pair Sterling, De Bruyne

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane fancies a double raid on crisis club Manchester City.

City are reeling after being slapped with a two season Champions League ban by UEFA for breaching Financial Fair Play laws.

And with City's stars instantly unsettled, Zidane has spied a chance to strengthen his midfield next season.

Mundo Deportivo says Zizou has told Real president Florentino Perez he'd like to see Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne brought to the club this summer.

What's more, Zidane has assured Florentino he's willing to take a frontline role to convince the pair to leave England for Spain.

City will fight hard to keep hold of both Sterling and De Bruyne, though could come under pressure amid claims from legal experts they could suffer a mass exodus over breach of contract given UEFA's ruling.
