Wolves are ready to bid for Borussia Monchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi.

The Sun says Wolves will offer £8m for Elvedi this week.

Elvedi has less than one year left on his contract at Gladbach and has resisted talks about a new deal.

Wolves, however, have Financial Fair Play concerns and must sell before moving for the defender.

The sale of Matheus Nunes to Manchester City would clear Wolves to go for Elvedi.
