Wolves are threatening Inter Milan plans for Keita Balde Diao.
The Birmingham Mail says Wolves are said to be mulling over a January approach for Keita, the AS Monaco winger who is on loan at Inter Milan.
The 23-year-old joined Inter on loan until the end of the season but his stint there could be cancelled once the transfer window re-opens, according to reports.
Keita has shown before that his pace and eye for goal can be a handful, especially at Lazio before he signed for Monaco, and Wolves are keeping a close eye on the situation.
It is understood that Wolves would have to pay a fee of around £4.5m to take over the loan and land the left-sided Senegal international for the rest of the campaign.
