Matt Mills is ready to leave Reading.
The Express & Star says Mills is set to meet with Reading manager Brian McDermott today in a bid to clinch his Premier League dream.
The 24-year-old Royals captain is ready to try to engineer his move away from the Championship play-off finalists in as dignified a way as possible, after returning from holiday on Friday.
Mills, who has a year left on his contract, has been offered a new deal by Reading understood to be worth almost £20,000 a week.
But, although he is settled at Reading, he is ready to turn his back on that to try his luck in the top flight with Wolves, Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City all chasing his signature.
