Wolves are showing interest in Aberdeen star Scott McKenna.
The Sun says Wolves have already run the rule of the Scotland international.
Scouts from Wolves took in the Dons' 1-0 win over Motherwell last weekend as they wanted a closer look at the 21-year-old in action.
Aston Villa and Celtic saw bids for the big stopper, who captained Scotland in their summer tour, thrown out by Pittodrie chiefs in August.
Villa are still interested in bringing McKenna south of the border to link up with international team-mate John McGinn.
They, along with Championship rivals Swansea and Norwich also took in the clash with the Steelmen.
