Wolves striker Matheus Cunha: We must be ready for Burnley

Wolves star Matheus Cunha believes the busy December fixture list is something his team can handle.

The former Atletico Madrid star was asked about his thoughts after a tough loss to Arsenal on Saturday.

Wolves are preparing to take on Burnley at home in midweek, with the games coming in thick and fast during the holiday period.

He stated post-game: “We went there, a hard game, against an incredible team, but we had a chance to get a better result for us. We need to keep going, the next game is three days later, and we need to recover well because we need to go again.

“Everybody wants to play like this [lots of games], in the Premier League. We don't have a lot of players in the group, so everyone needs to recover very well, keeping concentrated for every single game."

He added on improving away from home: “We talked about maybe being a bit braver. We came here and showed our respect, but sometimes you respect a lot. It's an incredible team, incredible stadium, but we need to get the mentality the same as Molineux.

“At home we play very well, the fans with us, but when we go away we need the same. We need to be a little bit braver, to keep focused and maybe we'll get good results also away."
