Wolves striker Diogo Jota admits he's long been a fan of Everton.

The 23-year-old has impressed ever since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2017, initially on loan, and has scored 43 goals during his time in England.

Gowing up in Portugal, he's revealed he often watched Premier League football and supported Everton.

He told the Guardian: "I loved to watch Everton play, especially when they were playing at home.

"It was not a club that fought for the title but that always made life very complicated for the big teams.

"And I loved that drive and competitiveness. They were relentless."
