Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs was given a one-match ban, which he has already served.
The club's director spoke about the referee in their game against Newcastle United in disparaging terms.
Hobbs referred to referee Anthony Taylor as "absolutely f****** useless" after the game.
Hobbs was subsequently charged by The FA with misconduct, per The Mirror.
He was then confirmed to have breached FA Rule E3.1 and was issued with a £4,000 fine, along with the game ban.
He has already served his punishment and will be able to see Wolves' next game.
