Wolves negotiate buyout clause in Nunes deal

Wolves will not consider offers for Matheus Nunes this summer.

The midfielder has been linked with Liverpool this season amid talk of his contract carrying a buyout clause.

The Telegraph says Nunes' deal did carry a £50m buyout clause. But that has since been removed after a round of negotiations.

As such, Wolves intend to keep hold of the Portugal international for another 12 months at least.

The 24 year-old has a deal at Molineux until 2027.
