Wolves face delays hiring Lopetegui

Premier League side Wolves may have to wait a while longer to ensure Julen Lopetegui is their new manager.

The ex-Spain and Real Madrid coach lost his job at Sevilla last week.

Per the Daily Mail, Lopetegui is interested in the Wolves job, but has still not traveled to the country.

It appears he will hold negotiations with Wolves in the week, which means that Under-18 boss Steve Davies and Under-21 coach James Collins may be in charge for their next match.

The duo were in charge for the 3-0 loss to Chelsea this weekend.

Lopetegui would come to Wolves with a big reputation, but his lack of experience in the Premier League may be a hindrance to his chances of ensuring they finish in the top half.
