Wolves boss Nuno insists the club is no stepping stone.
Wolves have lost Matt Doherty to Tottenham this summer, along with Diogo Jota to Liverpool.
But Nuno insists players do not arrive at Molineaux with an eye on a bigger move in the future.
He rejected they're "a springboard" or "crossing point" for players to bigger stages and, for those who think like that, left a warning: "We are a very big club".
"Jota was a player who had been with us for three years, always at the highest level. We are not a stepping stone. The players who arrive want to play and progress with us, they are not looking for a future transfer. That is definitely not our idea," said Nuno.
"Wolves are huge. We are a big, big club. A very big club and we are proud to be able to say that."
