Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has confirmed hopes of signing USA striker Juan Agudelo.
The former Stoke City signing, who is on trial for a second week, is pursuing a Cypriot passport to allow him to play in England and has told Wolves he wants to sign for them.
Head coach Jackett told the Express & Star: "The option he's looking to at the moment is Wolves,. He'd like to make it at Wolves. We'd probably assess a short-term contract at first.
"He's here, he likes it, he wants to stay and he'd be very interested in coming to Wolves."
As for the work permit, Jackett said: "We could get it. He played for Utrecht last season, so it doesn't seem as if there's a problem and we'd be OK.
"He's available and he's looking for a club in this country."
