Wolfsburg midfielder Zvjezdan Misimovic has welcomed interest from Atletico Madrid.

Atletico sports chief Jesus Garcia Pitarch has been keeping tabs on the Bosnia international this season.

Misimovic said: "I am pleased by the interest of Atletico. If there were to be a transfer, however, it could not happen before the summer."
