Wilshere says Lacazette could be Arsenal match-winner in Madrid

Arsenal star Jack Wilshere has said that Alexandre Lacazette could be the hero for the Gunners when they face off against Atletico Madrid in their Europa League semi-final clash second leg next week.

Arsene Wenger's side were held to a 1-1 draw at the Emirates by Atleti on Thursday.

Lacazette opened the scoring for the Gunners on the night and has so far managed 16 goals from 36 matches this season.

"Alex has been great since he came back," Wilshere said.

"We missed him a bit when he was injured. He has that natural goalscoring instinct. He can be out of the game for 60 or 70 minutes and then he comes alive. I am happy for him. We are going to need him now in the second leg. Hopefully he can continue his form."
