Manchester United U23 coach Warren Joyce is unhappy over the attitude of senior players towards his squad.

The Mirror says Joyce has been blocked by Jose Mourinho from fielding Bastian Schweinsteiger in his reserve-team.

The snub has angered reserve boss Joyce and is a key reason behind his urge to talk to Wigan over their managerial vacancy.

Joyce is angry at United's stars for their lack of desire to play in reserve games.

The boss helped develop stars such as Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Ashley Fletcher - as well as overseeing Paul Pogba's first spell at United.
