Why Hazard Will Not Leave Chelsea This Summer

There is no doubt that both the players and the coaching crew at Real Madrid have been muting the idea of snatching Eden Hazard from Chelsea. But the idea of a player in the talented Belgian's caliber leaving his club to another one is not as simple as dishing out soccer betting tips and predictions. This becomes more difficult when it is about leaving one of the biggest football clubs in elite football and one which has a moneybag as an owner.

Though every club can sell when the price is right, Chelsea is not considering selling Hazard now. Meanwhile, in the recent past, we have seen players making huge money moves because they wanted to, and not because the club wanted to sell them. This has been the center of speculation when it comes to Hazard's case. Everybody who knows football understands that Hazard will only leave Chelsea for Real Madrid or any other club when he wants to.

And these are the reasons why he will not be leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid this summer.

He Enjoys His Place

All of us as human beings have our ego issues and we always want to be the center of attention. This is one huge thing that will keep Hazard at Chelsea. If Real Madrid were a team made up of average players that achieve their glories through 100% team football, the decision would be easy for him to make. But this is a team that has the current world best footballer who is also expected to retain the Ballon d'Or glory. The Belgian talisman knows that he will go out of the spotlight once he joins the Blancos. He will be overshadowed by Ronaldo's wonders and the spotlight he enjoys in England and at Chelsea will phase out. He keeps saying 'I don't know if I am their most prized asset, but I will keep giving my best in every game' during interviews. Mentioning this in several interviews simply shows that he enjoys the tag. He doesn't want to become a second best elsewhere.

His Family

This is another reason why he will remain in London for the foreseeable future unless something drastic happens. When footballers have workable families, their transfer decisions are no longer theirs alone to make. Hazard has previously said that his wife and kids love and enjoy London. So, this will keep him here for now.

Belgian Teammates Company

One of the reasons why Eden fell out with Jose Mourinho was the sale of Kevin De Bruyne. Eden enjoys the company of fellow national teammates in his clubs. The celebration he made after scoring a goal for Belgium in the Euro 2016 where he sought out Benteke and hugged him shows how he values friendship. He still has friends like Michy Batshuayi in Chelsea. Romelu Lukaku may be joining him during the summer and De Bruyne and Benteke are still in England. There are not much Belgians in Spain and none in Madrid.

His Bond with Conte

Hazard recently described Conte as one coach that knows how to handle players. Conte has made him a better player and has built a good bond between the two of them. Hazard will not disagree if Conte tells him to reject any offer for now, and that, Conte will do.

Champions League Trophy

He has only played two seasons of Champions League football with Chelsea, with one being full of crises. Conte is promising to strengthen the squad in summer and Hazard would like to give the Champions League another shot with a better team than in the past. The success of the team in the league this season will motivate him to hope for success in the Champions League next season.

And all these reasons will make him stay.
