West Ham are ready to pounce for Barcelona midfielder Alen Halilovic.

The Croatia international is being put up for sale by Barca ahead of the summer market.

Halilovic is currently playing on-loan with Sporting Gijon and Barca coach Luis Enrique has informed sports chief Robert Fernandez he can't see a place for the midfielder in his squad next season.

The Hammers are sure to move for Halilovic, with manager Slaven Bilic a big fan of the former Dinamo Zagreb starlet. Bilic gave Halilovic his first cap while Croatia coach.

Barca will insist on a buy-back option in any deal over a likely period of two seasons.
