West Ham striker Ings delivers Everton swift response

Everton's enquiry with West Ham United over the signing of Danny Ings has come to nothing.

The Goodison Park club were hoping to bring in the former Aston Villa forward.

Per The Times, Ings wants to stay at the London Stadium club, as they are playing in the Europa League.

He is prepared to fight for his place, rather than compete in a relegation battle with Everton.

Everton have signed Beto from Udinese this week, but want more for manager Sean Dyche.

They are also assessing West Ham's Maxwel Cornet as a possible new recruit.
