West Ham striker Michail Antonio insists teammate James Ward-Prowse should be in England's squad.
Ward-Prowse has been outstanding for West Ham since his summer arrival from Southampton, but was again overlooked by England coach Gareth Southgate this week.
Antonio told BBC Sport: "I'm a bit disappointed with Southgate. The stats show that week after week Ward-Prowse does whatever it takes to play for England. It's crazy that he hasn't been selected.
"I understand that coaches choose players they trust, but he ( Southgate) has players in the squad who don't even play for their clubs."
Antonio added: "If I were James, I wouldn't go. I'm dead serious. It is the greatest honor to play for your national team, but I would not want to play under that man."
