West Ham striker Antonio slams claims Klopp should leave Liverpool

West Ham United striker Michail Antonio has defended Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after claims he should leave the club.

The German coach is under fire for the Reds' poor displays in the Premier League this term.

Liverpool are already adrift of the top four, while a title challenge is all but impossible.

"Wow, that is ridiculous! You can't. That's ludicrous. Getting rid of him would just be stupidity. He won the Premier League with Liverpool," Antonio told The Footballer's Football Podcast.

"At the end of the day, so many managers have been there and they haven't done it."

He then added that Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham, a Liverpool target, should move back to the Premier League.

"If I was in his shoes, he has the pick of everyone, I would be going to Spain," stated the Hammers' forward.

"The Premier League is the best league in the world, but the opportunity to play for Real Madrid and Barcelona... those teams are something else. Everyone dreams to play for them."
