West Ham scouting Copenhagen midfielder Jonas Wind

West Ham United are being linked with FC Copenhagen attacker Jonas Wind.

The Telegraph via Bold reports the 21 year-old Denmark international has been a long-term target for the Hammers.

While no move is planned this month, West Ham do intend to bid for Wind over the summer.

Wind, who was recently named Player of the Year in Denmark, has a contract until the summer of 2025 with FC Copenhagen.

The 21-year-old has long been established with FC Copenhagen - and this past year also broke into the Denmark national team.

Wind's progress has caught the eye of bigger European clubs which include several from the Premier League. West Ham have long admired Wind and the Irons, led by David Moyes, intend to try for him this summer.

In Denmark, it's suggested Wind could arrive at West Ham as a readymade replacement for Sebastien Haller, who left at the start of this month's transfer window for Ajax. This season, Wind has scored seven goals in 13 appearances for FC Copenhagen.
