West Ham United are eyeing a move for Swansea City manager Garry Monk as a possible replacement for Sam Allardyce.
Monk has impressed many during his first full season in charge of the Swans and subsequently, the 36-year old is being tipped for a long and successful career in management.
Monk seems to have caught the eye of the West Ham hierarchy and now according to reports from the Daily Star, it has been claimed that the Hammers are looking to lure the former defender to Upton Park as a replacement for Allardyce.
Allardyce's future at West Ham has long been in doubt and the reports state that Monk has been identified as the ideal long-term successor to the 60-year old ahead of the club's move to the Olympic Stadium.
