West Ham United are planning a shock double swoop for Liverpool duo Daniel Sturridge and Christian Benteke, according to reports from the Brentwood Gazette.

West Ham are keen on adding a couple of marquee players to their squad ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium next season and reports claimed that the Hammers are considering a double swoop for Reds pair Sturridge and Benteke.

Both Sturridge and Benteke have struggled at Liverpool with various injuries and lack of form respectively and it is believed that the East Londoners sense an opportunity to sign the duo for a combined fee of around £45million.
