West Ham owners Sullivan, Gold reject £350m takeover offer

West Ham United owners David Gold and David Sullivan have rejected a takeover bid from a United States consortium.

The Sun is reporting a mystery group offered £350 million for the London club.

However, the two Davids are said to have turned down the offer and do not want to give up their control at the club.

Sullivan has previously indicated he would not mind selling a minority stake to raise funds, but does not want to sell entirely.

The American consortium, per the source, will only put in money if they can get at least 51 percent of the club's shares.

They want decision making power, which Sullivan and Gold would not agree to give up.
