West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta is reportedly being investigated by the FA for betting on games.

BBC Sport says the investigation involves betting in Brazil on yellow cards received by Paqueta. The probe is also involving FIFA.

Speaking on Friday, Brazil's interim coach Fernando Diniz said: "Paqueta was on the list, he's a player I like a lot. It's a time for him to resolve these issues.

"People need time to sort these issues out. He's a player I love, I have the best impressions of him."

Paqueta is a confirmed target for Manchester City and Sky Sports says he insists he had not placed any bets himself and was shocked by the reports.
