West Ham United have made a first offer for Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus.
The Ghana international is expected to leave Ajax before next week's transfer deadline, though movement has been slowed in recent weeks.
The Daily Mail says West Ham have now made an offer of £36m for Kudus - which was rejected by Ajax.
Kudus, 23, is under contract in Amsterdam until 2025. Ajax attempted to open talks about an extension, but were turned down by the player's agents.
A move to England is the priority for Kudus.
