West Ham United fans are in talks with the club regarding the use of Zoom to show fans' faces during Premier League games.
The club could broadcast live fan reactions on the big screen at their London Stadium as games are taking place.
The idea would be for certain fans, possibly season ticket holders, to allow the club to access live footage of them watching the game.
It would also help the players with home field advantage, which may be lost given matches will take place without spectators due to COVID-19.
Hammers season ticket holder Nigel Kahn told the Claret and Hugh website: "Football without fans is nothing - so why not bring as many as possible into the stadium for players to see on the big screens?
"We could show the players support even though we're not there - but we are behind them visually in person."
