Mohammed Kudus was delighted scoring in West Ham's Europa League win against SC Freiburg.

Kudus and Edson Alvarez struck for the 2-0 triumph as West Ham finished group winners.

The Ghana international later said: "We knew Freiburg would come in strong but we were also prepared to press from the start and show good energy. We're pleased to win the game.

"I'm still settling in but with the help of the players and the staff we're settling in well."

On whether he meant the dummy before he scored, Kudus stated: "Yes, I was trying to take the ball but I saw it was going away from me so I had to wait. It was a great ball from Edson."
