Fiorentina defender Micah Richards is keen to return to England.
Richards is on-loan at Fiorentina from Manchester City.
The Daily Express says Fiorentina can make his deal permanent, but would have to pay £3.5m to cover the wages City have paid during the course of this season and also a loan facilitation fee.
However, Richards is targeting coming back to England and will be a free transfer in the summer when his contract runs out.
West Ham were interested in the former England defender, who won the last of his 13 caps three years, before he went to Italy.
