West Ham United may be set to cash in on a first team midfielder as the new season begins at the weekend.
The Hammers are holding talks with Manchester City for the sale of Lucas Paqueta to the Citizens on a permanent basis.
Per The Sun, West Ham could land one of two City stars as part of the deal that will allow Paqueta a move to a top club.
The two clubs have been holding talks, while Paqueta is very eager to finalize the move and play for City.
However, the deal will involve players and cash, which means West Ham will have to convince those players to join.
The names being mentioned are either City's fringe midfielder Kalvin Phillips or highly-rated youngster Cole Palmer.
