West Ham United defender Angelo Ogbonna says the players can handle the departure of Declan Rice.

The former club captain was sold to Arsenal last weekend.

Ogbonna said from Perth earlier today: "Talking about Dec, we saw him growing up from the Academy and everyone is really pleased with what he has done.

"All the players will step up, like the manager said. Whoever is going to get in that position will do their best to get something important for the Club."

Ogbonna penned a new deal with West Ham last week.
