West Ham are very close to complete a deal for Bayer Leverkusen forward Javier Hernandez, according to talkSPORT.

The Hammers have set their sights on Chicharito after failing to secure any of their original targets - Olivier Giroud, Michy Batshuayi and Kelechi Iheanacho.

The 29-year-old reportedly has a £13million release clause, and the Hammers are ready to pay up the amount.

The Mexico international joined Leverkusen from Man Utd back in 2015 following a five-year spell with the club.
