West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan is delighted with the instant impact of Emmanuel Emenike.
The Nigerian was outstanding for the FA Cup win over Blackburn Rovers.
Sullivan wrote for whufc.com: "With a number of forwards being ruled out of the game through injury there was a lot of responsibility on the shoulders of new signing Emmanuel Emenike to lead the line and he showed what he can bring to the team.
"The second finish in particular was very impressive and he could easily have scored a hat-trick after seeing his shot hit the post late in the game.
"Slaven (Bilic) knows all about him as a player following his time in Russia and Turkey and we are hoping he can stay among the goals in the next few months."
