West Ham captain Declan Rice was delighted after victory at Bournemouth.
Rice scored in Sunday's 4-0 win at Dean Court.
He said, "We have been starting to build momentum and confidence, you saw that midweek and today we could have had more.
"That's the first time we scored within 15 minutes all season, it's hard to not get comfortable but I thought we saw it out really well and think we saw a team pushing to get out of where we are in the table.
"I'm scoring again, two in a row, back-to-back. There have been a lot of question marks over my scoring ability. A few games to go and hopefully I can keep notching.
"The benchmark for [staying in the Premier League] a standard season is 40 points, so it is important we don't get too comfortable. We have Liverpool next and we relish those kind of nights."
On Pablo Fornals' scorpion goal, Rice added: "I tried to touch the ball I think I was the last man. It's not been easy and everyone wants to play the minutes and personally it's not been easy so for the chance to play I thank the lads as we had a great game. For us it is massive and for me personally to score a goal."
