Despite the defeat at the hands of Leicester City in the Capital One Cup, West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic was happy to see striker Andy Carroll back in action.
Making his first start for the Hammers since February, Carroll was on the pitch for 63 minutes of the game before he was replaced by midfielder Dimitri Payet in West Ham's eventual 2-1 extra-time loss int he third round.
After the game, Bilic told West Ham TV: "That was really good to see, Andy coming back from injury and starting the game after a long, long injury."
