West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is eager to get Alex Song to full fitness.

Song was outstanding for victory over Swansea City.

"He controls the midfield. He's composed, he's cool - he's going to be awesome when he is fully match fit again," he said. "It was a big bonus against Swansea to have him back. It helped make us better in possession of the ball and made us much more creative. Alex and Stewart Downing were terrific in the diamond shape.

"In final-third areas we score so many goals because of the quality of our delivery from Stewart, Aaron Cresswell and Carl Jenkinson."
