West Ham United and England star Declan Rice is full of praise for Liverpool star Thiago Alcantara.

Rice was asked about some of the toughest players he has faced in the Premier League in recent years.

He immediately spoke about Spanish superstar Thiago, who has elevated Liverpool's already impressive midfield since signing from Bayern Munich.

Rice himself is now admired as one of the best midfielders in the league, and is a transfer target for the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.

Speaking on Tubes and Ange's Youtube Channel, he said on his toughest opponent: "There's so many.

"He's just so silky. He just plays the game at his own pace. He was proper."
