West Bromwich Albion defender Liam Ridgewell is delighted with his current form.
Despite sitting out last weekend through injury, he agrees that his start to the season has seen him play some of the best football of his career.
"It's the most I've enjoyed my football, definitely," he told the Sunday Mercury.
"I'm happy with myself at the moment and hopefully I can just keep it going and as a team we can keep going and playing well."
When asked if he's a better player now because of his age, he added:
"A lot of people have asked me that question. Suddenly you hit 28 and people say you're in the latter stages of your career and they talk about injuries. But I think you just mature with age and come into yourself and into your better years.
"You mature in the game a bit more and you just learn to enjoy it and play the game how it should be played."
