The 25-year-old has arrived in England looking to impress Mowbray enough to earn a permanent deal at The Hawthorns.

"West Bromwich Albion have asked me to come to England," the Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma player told reporters in Seoul. "I heard the news suddenly from my agent so I don't know many details.

"In England, I will train with the team, watch their matches and meet the coach.

"This is my first chance to play overseas so I think I can get more experience playing in the Championship and not the Premier League."
