West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has fuelled rumours linking him with a move to Tottenham during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old favourited a series of tweets disparaging the Baggies and connecting him with a switch to White Hart Lane, including one that claimed West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace was keeping the striker and his family 'hostage'.

Berahino has been demoted to West Brom's U-21 side after he publicly refused to play for Peace when his summer transfer to Spurs failed to materialise.

With manager Tony Pulis having completely frozen Berahino out of the Baggies' first team picture, it is understood a transfer away from The Hawthorns may be imminent.
