Skysports.com reports West Bromwich Albion are poised to sign Dundee United youngster Scott Allan. Allan, who made his SPL debut this season, is able to talk to interested clubs from 1st December as he is about to enter the final six months of his current contract at Tannadice.
With the 20 year old free to talk to clubs, United are expecting an influx of teams to approach them to ask for permission to speak to the player.
The Baggies have held a long-term interest in Allan and are now trying to thrash out a deal with Dundee United for the Scotland Under 21 international in time for the January transfer window.
