West Bromwich Albion have reportedly joined the race to sign Charlie Austin.
The QPR striker is a target for a handful of Premier League clubs, including Newcastle United, West Ham United and Crystal Palace, and now the Baggies are showing significant interest according to the Birmingham Mail.
Albion boss Tony Pulis is determined to lure a quality striker to The Hawthorns and has thrown his hat in the ring for 25-year old Austin, who scored 18 top flight goals last term, after missing out on Demba Ba.
The Senegalese attacker recently left Turkish club Besiktas to surprisingly join Chinese Super League outfit Shangahi Shenhua, which has prompted Albion to go after Austin who is valued at £15million.
