West Brom boss Mel unsure if he'd survive Swansea defeat

West Bromwich Albion boss Pepe Mel is unsure if he'll survive the sack if they lose to Swansea City this weekend.

Mel is yet to taste victory since taking charge of the Baggies.

When asked if he would definitely be in charge next week should Albion not win at the Liberty Stadium, he replied: "I don't actually know."

Mel, who penned an 18-month contract when he took over in January, insists the Baggies' game is therefore a 'must-win', saying: "The only thing is winning against Swansea. Of course we must win.

"It is being said there are four important games but for me there is only one important game and that is to beat Swansea. My focus is on the players to improve them because this is the only way I can be sure I am going to be here for a long time."
