Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak is wanted back at former club West Bromwich Albion.
The Sun says the Baggies have stepped up their bid to bring Kuszczak back to The Hawthorns.
Baggies boss Roy Hodgson wants Kuszczak after missing out on Brad Friedel when he signed for Spurs from Aston Villa.
Kuszczak, 29, left The Hawthorns four years ago but could return to battle for the No 1 shirt with Scott Carson.
