West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson was delighted with Craig Dawson's performance in victory over QPR.
Albion overcame the loss of defender Jonas Olsson with a groin injury in the build-up to the game with youngster Dawson stepping into the breach.
Hodgson said: "We lost Jonas just before the game which doesn't help. Zamora is an outstanding target player, a real handful to play against and he would have been a handful for Jonas.
"For an inexperienced player like Craig, it would have been even harder.
"But I thought he stood up to his task really well. He couldn't stop Bobby playing well but restricted the number of chances he got and assists he was able to make."
