Wesley Moraes says his first goal for Aston Villa was a career highlight this season.

Now recovering from knee surgery, the striker first struck against Everton.

"It was my first goal in the Premier League and my first goal for Aston Villa. It was amazing. The Villa fans went crazy and it made me very, very happy," he said.

“The Villa fans push us every game and I think if we had them in every game, I think you win every game. The Villa fans are amazing.

“When I played in Belgium, I said that I wanted to play in the Premier League. So when I scored my first goal, I was very happy."
