Werder Bremen sports chief Frank Baumann was seeking out West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic yesterday.

Baumann was wanting a word with the Austrian after copping criticism from the striker for the release of Claudio Pizarro.

"A team needs someone like Claudio Pizarro," said Arnautovic of the 38 year-old Peruvian striker. "He's a must.

"Werder should have done things differently."

Ahead of yesterday's friendly, Baumann was asked about the criticism.

"Marko Arnautovic can never be contradicted," he smiled, ironically. "He's always right!

"We'll discuss it when we see eachother."
