Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was delighted to see his side match the results of their title rivals in Premier League this weekend.
The likes of Manhester United, Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool registered wins in their respective games over the weekend. The Gunners matched the results of their supposed rivals with a 2-0 home win over West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.
"It's not easy when everybody else wins and you absolutely have to win on Monday night," Wenger told talkSPORT.
"Overall, I think West Brom played very well. They were very organised, very strong in the challenges and very direct and dangerous.
"In the second half, I think it was more one-way traffic on our side and we played very well after that.
"But we were in less trouble in the second half than we were in the first and overall we got a very important three points."
